Friends Athletics to celebrate National Girls & Women's Sports Day

The Friends Academy Athletics Department will be recognizing the annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day with special programming on Friday, Feb. 3 at 6 pm.

All female student-athletes in grades 3-12, along with one family member are invited on campus for a Yoga and Meditation session, followed by dinner and storytelling.

The umbrella organization, Women's Sports Foundation, turns 37 on Feb. 1st, which is also marking the 50th anniversary of Title IX with year-long events.
