Written by

After 11 years, the Friends Academy Boys Varsity Basketball team is on their way to the Long Island Championship. The number #1 seeded Quakers matched up against The Malverne Mules, ranked at #2, and with both teams arriving at the championship game with 18-20 season records, it was anyone’s game. This is the first county championship title in over a decade for Boys Varsity Basketball, with a final score of 59-46. Top scorers of the game were Gabe Ferencz ‘23 with 16. CJ Williams ‘23 with 14, Malachi Polson ‘23 and Logan Mott ‘23 both with 13.
