An annual tradition at Friends, our Under The Lights nights unite competition, live-game action, Quaker cheering, and this year, some special Varsity mentoring of our Lower School future Varsity athletes at our Lower School Sports Clinic.

The afternoon began as Varsity athletes took to the turf with Lower School friends to practice technique and offer tips. Facepainting and food truck fare of pretzels, churros, and ice cream rounded out this community-minded event before the headliners of Girls and Boys Soccer.

The Girls Varsity Soccer team owned the turf, vanquishing Seaford 1-0 by the ending buzzer. High intensity permeated the field during the Boys Varsity Soccer match against Locust Valley. While the Boys ultimately relinquished the night with a score of 0-2, the Friends Academy Varsity Cheer team kept fans on their feet until the final moments of each game.
