Eight Friends track athletes qualify for States

Last week, our Friends Academy Varsity Track and Field team went on to compete at North Shore in hopes of qualifying for states. Friends had an astonishing eight athletes qualify, who will go on to compete at Middletown High School in the upcoming NYPHSAA State Championship later this week. Congratulations to the following athletes:

  • Dijaye Carpenter - Triple Jump
  • Jackson Brielmann - 400 meters, 4x400m. relay 
  • Ben Martin - 800 meters, 4x400m. relay
  • Aislinn Frazer - 3000 meters, 1500 meters
  • Jared Williams - 100 meters
  • Olivia Carden - 100m. hurdles 
  • Logan Alvarez - 4x400m. relay
  • Logan Mott - 4x400m. relay
