Class of 2022 – Honoring the Journey

Written by

On Wednesday, Nov. 10, parents and caregivers of the Friends Academy Class of 2022 joined us at Mill River Club for a luncheon to celebrate the journeys of their students and families. Andrea Kelly, Head of School, thanked them for their support with events such as Fall Fair, with fundraisers, field trips, bake sales, and athletics. In the months leading up to graduation, she encouraged them to stay in the moment. “Thank you for your years of commitment to Friends Academy, for sharing your children with us, and for carrying the Friends Academy banner proudly beyond our walls and beyond your time here,” Andrea said. “We are and always will be profoundly grateful.”

Rosie Mangiarotti '14, the keynote speaker, shared her own college experience and how she found her passion for entrepreneurship. She attended Brown University and recently founded Perkies, a company specializing in undergarments for women.
