5th Graders bring summer reading to life in color

Written by

5th Graders finished a wondrous mural based on their summer reading The Wish Tree, which touches on important themes of hope, tolerance, and the power of togetherness.

As a community, these 5th-grade artists worked together to create the composition of the mural themselves by connecting colors in interesting and dynamic ways. The students did a beautiful job of displaying these powerful themes through art, using technique and teamwork, including joyful characters and a beautiful portrayal of the main characters in a scene that will live on our walls for the rest of this year.
